To use custom PHP variables it's recommended to keep it on the /config/settings.php this file is auto generate during the application install and will not be override during application update.

NOTE : this file will be override if you re-install the application

NOTE : The file 'settings.php' contain and return an array so please do not add any PHP code on this file,  only add your elements to the existing array.
